In the forward position, the table can be locked manually with a spring-loaded pin. In the working position (under the press head), the table is automatically locked by a pneumatic cylinder. Only in this position can the press head be lowered using the two-hand control. The control panel features two-hand switches, an emergency-stop, table lowering button and force selectors 1 and 2. The force can be set using potentiometers in the control cabinet. Two force levels and the corresponding pressing speed can be adjusted there.
