UniCen series – for large, complex components

With the Monforts UniCen Series 1000 machine tools, you can fully machine large, complex components (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) in a single setup – process-reliable and cost-optimized. Exceptional flexibility is achieved thanks to the five interpolating axes. The boring-milling head, which rotates around the B-axis with a 190° swivel range, positions tools at nearly any location and angle on the workpiece. Furthermore, the tool head can be fully automatically equipped via a chain magazine with 60 tools using an automatic tool changer. This allows for efficient machining of even complex freeform surfaces with excellent surface quality.
