STANDARD CONDITIONS
The plant is designed for the production of 160 t/h of road mix with a finished product at an initial moisture content of 4% and 160°C under the following standard conditions:
• Aggregate temperature at dryer inlet: 10°C.
• Sea level altitude
• Average density of the feed aggregates: 1,650 kg/m³
• Heavy fuel oil No. 6 calorific value ≥ 9,200 kCal/kg
• Heavy fuel oil No. 4 calorific value ≥ 9,700 kCal/kg
• Calorific value for diesel oil ≥ 10,200 kCal/kg
• Natural gas calorific value ≥ 7,600 kCal/kg
• Temperature rise of hot aggregates: 160 K
• Residual moisture content in mix: 0.3%
• Max. aggregate size: 40 mm

• Material pass-through sieve 3 mm: 35%
• Material is non-porous and non-hygroscopic with regular shape
• Production tolerance rate as per environmental and parameter conditions: ±4%
COLD AGGREGATE BUNKERS
• Four cold aggregate hoppers made of 5 mm St 37-grade steel plate are required, each approximately 20 m³ in size and manufactured separately.
• The hoppers must be fitted with 800 mm upper extensions made from 6 mm steel to prevent overflow of material.
• Discharge of material from the hoppers must be achieved with a moving feeder assembly.
• Material flow from each hopper must be optionally frequency-controlled (speed-controlled) and adjustable via the computer screen.
• The discharge rate of each hopper can be set via manual gate levers, which must be available on every hopper.
• A warning system must be present if the aggregate in the hopper runs out, with a warning sign displayed on the operator screen.
• A vibrator motor, controlled from the operator screen, must be installed to facilitate material flow and prevent blockages in hoppers containing fine materials.
• A conveyor belt system must be installed beneath each hopper to ensure safe material transfer.
• Each hopper must be equipped with modular grids made from 10x50 plates with a 10 mm bar diameter.
• Silo loading width must be 3000x2400 mm.
• An emergency pull-cord shutdown system must be in place.
• Possible malfunctions of the belts must be displayed on the operator screen.
2. SUB-HOPPER COLD AGGREGATE COLLECTOR BELT
• The horizontal belt must transfer material taken separately from each hopper in a controlled fashion to the inclined dryer feed belt, and be capable of supplying material to a plant with a capacity of 160 t/h.
• The rubber belt must be 10 mm thick, 800 mm wide, 4-ply EP 125-grade fabric.
• The belt's start/stop operation must be controllable via the operator screen. To empty hoppers at season’s end, the belt must be capable of reverse operation independently of the other units.
• The horizontal conveyor frame must be constructed from structural steel, ensuring smooth operation and including a belt tensioning system.
• The belt must be equipped with a stripping system at both ends.
• The drive drum must be rubber-coated and have a 1-degree angle.
