Heavy-duty mechanical eccentric drawing press in robust double-column design from Schuler, engineered for continuous industrial operation in the automotive sector.

The machine features a pressing force of 1,200 t, a fixed ram stroke of 600 mm, and an additional ram adjustment of 600 mm. Strokes per minute are approx. 9 spm. The shut height is approx. 1,600 mm, providing the capability to accommodate large-volume dies and components.

Especially noteworthy is the spacious working area with a table size of approx. 4,500 mm and a moveable/extendable bolster, which significantly eases die setup and changeovers, optimally adapting the machine for operation with heavy tooling.

The integrated drawing cushion (blankholder cushion) provides a force of approx. 225 t and a stroke of approx. 200 mm, enabling demanding deep-drawing and forming operations typically found in body-in-white manufacturing.

In addition, the press is equipped with a pneumatic ejector in the ram (approx. 95 t / 150 mm), facilitating automated part removal.

The press has not been in continuous industrial operation at its current site since the 1990s and has been used exclusively for testing purposes.
