The integrated drawing cushion (blankholder cushion) provides a force of approx. 225 t and a stroke of approx. 200 mm, enabling demanding deep-drawing and forming operations typically found in body-in-white manufacturing. In addition, the press is equipped with a pneumatic ejector in the ram (approx. 95 t / 150 mm), facilitating automated part removal. The press has not been in continuous industrial operation at its current site since the 1990s and has been used exclusively for testing purposes.
