The system consists of the following components: - Mash/lauter tun made of stainless steel for mashing-in, saccharification, and mashing out. Separate control of the thermo-oil heated jacket and bottom heating zones. The double-walled vessel is insulated and features a polished internal surface. The top-mounted motor drives the chopping and stirring mechanism with stepless speed control. For lautering, a multi-part perforated false bottom is installed, and a rectangular side manway is fitted for spent grain removal. Additional equipment includes a hinged lid, CIP spray head, temperature probe, and spraying unit. - Kettle/Whirlpool made of stainless steel. The vessel is double-walled with welded heating zones in the shell and bottom, heated by thermo-oil. The vessel is insulated and equipped with a temperature probe, hinged lid, CIP cleaning head, spray unit, height-adjustable stopper, and tangential wort inlet for trub separation. The interior surface is polished. - Single-stage plate heat exchanger for cooling wort from 100°C to 18°C while simultaneously heating water from 13°C to 77°C. This allows cooling of a brew’s worth of wort within about one hour. Plates are made of stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316) and seals of EPDM. The wort cooler features a PT1000 temperature sensor. - Thermal oil heater for warming the laser-welded heating zones in the brewing vessels. The thermal oil vessel holds approx. 50–65 L of oil, electrically heated up to a maximum of 150°C. A safety switch automatically stops the heating when the temperature exceeds 160°C. The tank is equipped with temperature and level sensors, and a pump circulates the thermal oil. - 12 hl hot water tank, standalone on three legs, with a top manway. The tank is heatable, insulated, and features a hose level indicator, temperature probe, and hot water pump. - Centrifugal pump for product transfer between vessels and for CIP cleaning, with a motor power of 0.37 kW and stepless speed control. - Stainless steel piping and manual valves for product transfer. Pipes are orbitally welded and have polished interior surfaces. - Control unit with a 10" touchscreen and PLC for brewhouse automation, housed in a stainless steel control cabinet.
