The sterilizer is intended for steam sterilization of a wide range of materials, such as laboratory glassware, infusion fluids, culture media and microbiological samples, medical instruments, surgical linens, dressing materials, rubber products, as well as metal and plastic containers. It is used primarily in laboratories, hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities, and pharmacies.

The autoclave was in operation until March 31, 2026, at the microbiology laboratory of the Silesian Library, where it was used as a "clean" device for sterilizing small laboratory equipment, on average once a week. It was dismantled fully operational and remains in good technical condition. The device has valid UDT inspections, and comes with complete manufacturer documentation as well as the latest test report confirming the validity of the internal inspection and pressure test.
