This machine has been in use for several years. The machine has been checked, tested and is operating 100% properly.

The removal of slag is a labor-intensive task that still often involves the use of a hammer and chisel. Alternatively, an electrically powered hand tool can be used. Due to the heavy load during operation, both for the operator and the hand tool, these handheld machines need to be replaced regularly. This results in high costs, additional waste streams, and potential health issues for the operator.
Manual slag removal is time-consuming and demanding for both the operator and the equipment, leading to increased costs and wear. The DS600 and DS1200, specially developed by Q-Fin, automatically remove slag after plasma or oxy-fuel cutting. These machines can easily be integrated into any production line, ensuring slag is removed before the product enters the deburring machine for edge rounding.
The removed residue is collected in a bin and can be disposed of as scrap. By performing slag removal as a separate process, contamination in the deburring machine is prevented.
Both models are ergonomically designed and feature touchscreen controls for ease of use. Slag is effectively removed by two counter-rotating slag hammer rollers, which impact the product twice per revolution. The result is a flat product ready for further finishing.
